Here we have Trent going through a reactive version of our jockey turn & sprint drill
He has spent the last few weeks nailing the pattern and now it is time to challenge him with maintain his technique reacting to an external stimulus.
Big rocks of what we want to see from him include
Low body position through shuffles
Smooth pivot of the foot to initiate the turn
Knee, hips & shoulders all turn together
When all of that comes together it looks silky smooth. So the repetition of this drill is to make sure he can do it consistently in various situations.
