Ultimate Frisbee Spotlight – Michael Truong

With less than 2 weeks until worlds we want to highlight some of the work our national Ultimate Frisbee players have been doing in preparation. All with quite different needs currently.


First up is Michael Truong


As we get closer and closer Mikey’s program has shifted to more of a powerful & explosive program, aiming to move fast through various planes and with different loads.


Here is a small portion of his program he completed last Friday


Power:

1A – BB hang Pull

1B – Band Bent Over Rotating Pull

1C – Lateral Bound to SL Tuck Jump


Strength

2A – Trap Bar Deadlift (banded)

2B – Db Arnold Press (not videoed)

2C – Box Jump

3A – BB Explosive Side Lunge

3B – ½ Kneeling Lateral Bound
